At March 29 Open Meeting, PCAOB to Consider Adoption of Charters for New Advisory Groups

Washington, Mar. 23, 2022

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) will hold an open meeting on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. ET.

At the meeting, the Board will consider adopting charters for its two new advisory groups: the Investor Advisory Group and the Standards and Emerging Issues Advisory Group. These advisory groups will help the PCAOB obtain essential input and insights from investors and other stakeholders on a variety of matters related to improving audit quality.

Along with the adoption of charters for the new groups, the Board will also consider dissolving the Standards Advisory Group, established in March 2021.

Given the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the PCAOB’s open meeting will take place virtually. The meeting will be streamed live at a page accessible via the PCAOB website, using the following information.
